Starbucks mocha frappucino is really heavenly after 6 days of getting high on hot Milo. So much so that we have formed the Milo khakis to get high together. Somebody save me.
Burnt brown like anything after 6 days outside, and I have to admit, I'm really enjoying it. The only drawback was that majority of those 11-year olds are monsters! Yeah, they were all hyperactive, high-strung, oblivious to instructions, annoying, pesky and all..but some of them were perfect little angels, just like my little sisters. I guess these were the few students who made my job as their instructor worthwhile, and seeing the entire group of them enjoy the campfire night made it a wonderful experience, reminding me that we're all doing it for the kids.
I love this job.
Loss abit of weight after 6 nights of dance marathons, acting like a jumping maniac to get the kids pumped up, running around while on duty, night walks and cleaning ups. Muscle lines showing after moving a hell lot of stuff, building rafts and all. Fabulous brown look that is unfortunately, uneven.
I'm loving it.
Most of all, I love the company of the people whom I have spent sleeping under the same roof with. I enjoy being high with them, I enjoy grumbling with them, I enjoy watching all of us dance and drive ourselves crazy because of our passion for the job, for the kids.
I can't wait for next week to come. Got lots of things to do, got lots of places to go with XH. Can't wait.
I can't wait to spend my time with all my friends, since I won't be working anymore. I realised I have been so busy my entire life, I don't know whether its an essential aspect of me as Miss Busy-XP, but I'm really riding high on this element. Looking back, After PSLE, I spent my holidays working on my piano, after the O's, I spent my time appealing to VJ Band (unsuccessful attempt but good experience), after the A's, bowling training, work, camps..and I predict I'll still be busy with bowling training, and a few camps, spending time with XH, and friends, orientation camps at NUS and finally to a fresh start in NUS.
Will I ever rest? *grin* Doubt so.
Ride on.
