It rained on me when I finally got down to cycling today. I hate you, Mr Rain. *growls*
People often say doing things alone, going out alone once in a while is a very peaceful thing to do. I certainly do not think so. Cycling alone today made me feel even lonelier, it simply emphasizes the fact that I am an only child, with no siblings to share my interests such that my reliance on friends grows stronger. To cut it short - I am extremely dependent on others to frame my life.
Sat for a while at the beach watching windsurfers struggle against the (pathetic) wind, then I realised that in this sport, you are all alone in the open sea - nobody to accompany you. Watched this guy struggle to move, only to end up in the water himself as he lost his balance again and again. It gets terribly defeating over some time; I saw another girl further out in the sea, sitting on the board looking as though she's resigned to her fate of not being able to get back to the shore. Then again, she might be enjoying herself.
Uncle William got me a cardigan for Chrismas. *grins* Wondering whether I will still need a jacket after all. Ah who cares. When I find a nice jacket I'll still buy it. The evil of shopping. *tsk tsk*
I have this sudden urge to play with Play-Doh. No matter how gross the "dough" can be, they are still nice! Shaped into fries, beef patties, food, dunno what else...but the cleanups were pretty disgusting, having to scrape everything off. Uggh.
